Passed away on: Saturday, December 16, 2006
Passed away peacefully at St. Josephs Hospital, Hamilton, on Saturday December 16, 2006. Mildred (nee Rutherford) formerly of Burford in her 81st year. Beloved wife and best friend of William Brooks for 53 years; Loving mother of Keith of Princeton and Glen of Mississauga. Survived by her brother, Gordon (Cora) Rutherford, of Guelph. She will be sadly missed by her several nieces, nephews and friends. Mildred was a life member of St. Andrew’s United Church U.C.W., Muir and the “Friendly Farmer’s Wives Club.” Friends will be received at the KEITH OVINGTON FUNERAL HOME 134 King Street Burford, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday December 20, 2006. at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rob Parr and Rev. Randy MacKenzie officiating. Interment Princeton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations in Mildred’s memory may be made to the Burford United Church Memorial Fund or the Kidney Foundation of Canada. KEITH OVINGTON 449-1112. www.keithovington.ca
