Heartfelt condolences to Mike, Tina, their family and Blanche’s other relatives. Blanche was always happy to see us and welcomed us warmly to family gatherings over the years. We found her bold, feisty personality refreshing and enjoyable and will remember her great love for her home country and for her family. Love from Anita and Albert TenBruggencate and their daughters, Elana and Cara.

We have so many memories of Blanche - met her in 2001 when we moved across the street from her on Oliver. Loved her Scottish humour. She was a lady in every way. Randy and I have shared many happy times with Blanche and Tony over the years. Great New Year's Eve memories with lots of laughs. Too many to mention here, but there is one that will always stand out in my mind and that is when I took Blanche shopping at Walmart. On our way out the greeter said his "have a nice day". As we walked to my car, I said to Blanche "if you ever want a part time job you could always be a Walmart greeter". She responded with "oh that's for old people" - she was 86 at the time :-) Loved her so much and we will miss her every day.
