Obituary for William Thomas Ph. D. SHEARER MD
SHEARER: William Thomas M.D., Ph. D., – passed away October 9, 2018 at his home in Houston, Texas at the age of 81 years. Dr. Shearer is survived by his wife Lynn Des Prez, by his children Christine (Henry), Mark, Christopher (Kellie), Martin, John (Jacqueline) and Jesse. Sadly missed by all of his grandchildren.
Dr. Shearer devoted his life to Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital since 1978.
A public graveside service will take place at the Chesterfield Cemetery, RR#1 Bright, ON on Saturday November 3, 2018 at 1:00pm. A reception will follow at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William Street, Plattsville. Donations to the Peace United Church, Plattsville (cheques accepted) and would be appreciated by the family.
