Obituary for Lance BODY

In his 85 year, after a short but valiant fight, surrounded by his family, William Lance has gone home to his Lord. Born on July 2nd, 1938 in Norwich, Ontario. Lance lived a life full of love, dedication and service to
his family, friends, church and his community.

Lance was a joker and had a quick wit and loved a good joke with a wonderful infectious laugh. He was a devoted husband to Jacqueline for 53 years of marriage and a proud, loving father to his two daughters Kathryn and Victoria. Lance also had a special bond with Victoria's partner Steve.

Lance was a long time member and past president of Branch 190 Legion (The Ranch) as well as a member of St Albans (Delhi), St John's Church (Otterville) and Holy Trinity in Norwich where he served as Warden and a
Board member.

Lance is survived by his brother Lowell of Norwich, sister Kathleen (Michael) of Kincardine, brother Timothy of London, as well as, his brother in law Russell Needham of Rochdale, England. Lance is also survived and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the St. Alban the Martyr Church, 19 Talbot Road, Delhi, Ontario, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Reverend Larry Brown to officiate. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Lance, may be made to Norwich Youth for Christ - Upper Deck (Please go to www.YFCNorwich.com), Royal Canadian Legion - Branch # 190 or the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation.
