Obituary for Wayne Darrell HERREMAN
Herreman, Wayne Darrell 1960 ~ 2022
After a courageous fight with cancer, surrounded by his loving family at VON – Sakura House, Wayne passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in his 63rd year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Kim Herreman (Nee Litton) of 43 years.
He leaves behind his son Darryl (Kimberly), and their children Rachel and Cooper; Andrew; Danielle (Nick), and their daughter Laurel.
Survived by his parents Medard and Julie (Lendvay) Herreman, his two brothers Dan (Linda) and Jeff (Michelle) Herreman. Fondly remembered by Kim’s family Sil and Shirley Litton, Melanie (Dave) Thompson, and many nieces and nephews.
His love and support of his family was never ending. Wayne was proud of the life he built farming tobacco and ginseng with his high school sweetheart. Wayne loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing and old cars.
A heartfelt thank-you to Suzanne and Dr. Foerster, Diane, and the staff on the Palliative Care Unit – Woodstock General Hospital, and the wonderful team at VON-Sakura House. There will be a private celebration of Wayne’s life, to be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wayne, may be made to the VON- Sakura House, or the Woodstock General Hospital.
