Obituary for Shirley Marjorie MUSSEL (Lee)
MUSSEL: Shirley Marjorie (nee Lee) - passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Woodstock Hospital. Shirley Mussel of Walsingham, at the age of 73 years.
Beloved wife of Gary Mussel whom she married September 18, 1971. Loving mother of Lisa Aker of Port Rowan and Sheri & husband Mitch Patenaude of Tillsonburg. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Ashley, Justin, Kali and Noah. Survived by her brother Wayne Lee, brother-in-law Tim De Jonghe and sister-in-law Carol Lee all of Delhi.
Predeceased by her parents Lloyd & Marjorie (Day) Lee, sister Bonnie De Jonghe, mother and father-in-law Florence and Cecil Mussel and son-in-law John Aker.
Shirley owned and operated Shirley's Beauty Salon in Walsingham and was a past member of the Walsingham U.C.W. and was a life partner with Gary in the family business Mussel's Trucking.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sinai Health Foundation or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be posted at www.gffh.ca
