Obituary for Sharon Ann ROSS (Zinn)

ROSS: Sharon Ann

Mom.... your life was a blessing and and your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Sharon Ann Ross (Zinn) at Sakura House on Saturday, August 20, 2022. After a very brief illness in her 72nd year.. Mom has gone on to be wrapped eternally in Dad's loving arm's

Predeceased by her husband Larry Allen Ross (September 27, 2021), parents Elroy & Mabel (Bullock) Zinn, sister Marie Roth (June 30, 2017) , brothers-in-law Tom Richards (Dec 31,2000) and Paul Roth (October 11, 2015), father and mother-in-law Allen & Madaline (Aspden) Ross and her precious granddaughter Brianna Nicole Ross (August 6, 1997)

Sharon was a loving and devoted mother to her oldest son Daryl and his wife Nicole of RR#1 Bright, her youngest son Dale of St. Thomas and her only daughter Jennifer of Cambridge.

We write this with so many happy memories. She was undoubtedly the most fun loving and adored Grandma to Joe, Makayla (Jeff), Shelby, Alyssa, Colleen, Arya and Graham, and of course the apple of Gigi's eye, her great granddaughter Brynlee.

Survived by her brothers and sisters Harold (Anne) Zinn, Norma Zinn, Marlene Roth, Wayne (Sandra) Zinn, Al (Darlene) Zinn, Gloria (Jeff) Morgan and by brother-in-law Ervin Roth and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Also survived by her brother-in-law Gerry and his wife Mary Lou Ross and her nieces Amy & Megan.

Sharon was a devoted wife and mother who's presence will be profoundly missed. She was the absolute best baker of cookies, tarts and everything in between. She had her hand in many crafts with the kids and had her mark on each and every greeting card, and was always- if blessed with enough- the creator of many snowmen over the years. As mom aged, the kid in her never really went away. This made her a wonderful mom and a very creative grandma. She enjoyed hockey games, soccer games, piano recitals, graduations as much as she could. She is the very definition of what a grandmother should be. We will all be lost without her.

"A mothers love is always with her children. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring, and her wisdom live on like a legacy of love that will always be with you."

As per mom's wishes, a private graveside service will take place at a later date at the 17th Line E.U.B. Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.

Family would sincerely appreciate any donations be directed to the VON Sakura House or to Muscular Dystrophy (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) would be appreciated by the family.. Personal condolences can be posted at www.gffh.ca
