Obituary for Ruby Jane AWDE
AWDE: Ruby Jane – passed away peacefully on Monday February 18, 2019 at the Woodstock General Hospital. Ruby Awde of Woodstock and formerly of Drumbo in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late Earl Awde who predeceased her April 30, 2008. Loving mother of Raymond (1985), Barb Caldwell of Stratford, Bill & wife Connie of Richwood, Kathy & husband Jim Haskins of Delhi, Ric & wife JoAnne of Woodstock, Keith (2016) & wife Terry of Drumbo, Patricia Good of Keremeos, B.C., and Daryl of Woodstock. Sadly missed by her 21 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Betty Taylor of Hagersville.
Predeceased by her brother Richard & Eva Awde, by sister Edna & Gordon Banfield and brother-in-law Abe Taylor.
Relatives & friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William Street, Plattsville on Friday from 2 – 4 & 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Saturday February 23, 2019 11:00am. Interment in Drumbo Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Association or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.
