Obituary for Ed SNYDER
Lovingly surrounded by his extended family at Trillium Retirement Home in Norwich,
on Monday, May 1, 2023.
Edgar Snyder peacefully departed this life, and joined his wife and business partner, Ruth.
Father of Joanne( Scott), Bryan, and Christine (Henry). Grandfather of Jillian (Nolan), Brittany (Mark),
Victoria (Aaron), Merrick (Camryn), and Madison.
A lifetime resident of Norwich, and proud 3rd generation Snyder with heritage ties to the
establishment of Norwich settlement.
Following his father Ed Snyder Sr. and brother Bill into the family business, “Snyder’s Electric”, he serviced many appliances and electronics in Norwich homes over 45+ dedicated years. His quick wit and dry humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020 for a private family service. Cremation and interment at the C. G. Walker "Quaker Street" cemetery. Donations in memory of Ed, may be made to VON - Sakura House.
