HESS: Doreen M (nee Smith) - passed away peacefully on Thursday October 17, 2019 at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel. Doreen Hess of Plattsville in her 86th year.

Beloved wife of the late Cecil Hess who predeceased her June 29, 1967. Loving mother of Cleveland & wife Karin of Tobermory, Graham of Woodstock, Marian & husband Greg Baron of Kitchener, Norma of Kitchener and Gord of Plattsville. Sadly missed by her grandson Ben and 2 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Douglas Smith of Stoneboro, Pennsylvania and Jim & Doreen Smith of Sharbot Lake.

Predeceased by her parents James & Ethel (Richardson) Smith, her sister Phyllis & husband Bill Dawes and sister-in-law Fran Smith.

Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St., Plattsville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at the Peace United Church, Plattsville on Wednesday October 23, 2019 at 2:00pm. Interment in Chesterfield Cemetery.
