Obituary for Lydia VARGA (Kurucz)
VARGA: Lydia (nee Kurucz) - passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Brantford General Hospital. Lydia Varga of Paris and formerly of Plattsville in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of Ernie Varga. Loving mother of the late Donnie Varga who predeceased her December 4, 1999. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Catherine & Josh Entz of RR#3 Bright, Esther & Eli Entz of RR#4 Bright, Margaret Kurucz of Paris, Daniel & Diane Kurucz of Burlington, Rosemary Kurucz of Oakville, Elizabeth Gabor, Annie Kurucz and Mary Kurucz all of Israel, Lydia is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Fred & Theresa (Shill) Kurucz, by her brothers and sisters Coleman Kurucz, Eli (Frank) & Nancy Kurucz, Julius Kurucz, Fred Kurucz, Theresa & Julius Kubassek, Annie & Erwin Meissner, Magdalene Kurucz and by brother-in-law Andrew Gabor.
Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. N. on Monday from 2-4 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow in the Chesterfield Cemetery.
