Obituary for Louise Jane BAIRD (Ryan)
BAIRD: Louise Jane (nee Ryan) - passed away peacefully on Thursday November 14, 2019 at the Woodstock General Hospital. Louise Baird of RR#1 Bright in her 88th year.
Beloved wife of the late Hugh Little Baird who predeceased her October 6, 2004. Loving mother of Michell McGrath & Anne Buckrell of Ingersoll, Douglas & Maryann Baird of Mississauga, the late Sheila (1996) and Jim Langeveld of Woodstock, Julia Baird & Steve Heyerdahl of Hamilton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Greg & Sherry McGrath, Tom McGrath, Scott Baird, Leanne Baird , James & Kelsey Langeveld, Emily Langeveld and great grandson Viktor McGrath. Survived by her brother Morley Ryan & wife Marie of Stouffville and sister Susan & husband Rodger Mole of Toronto and by her many nieces and nephews.
Louise was very involved over the years in her community and her churches Chesterfield United Church and then Peace United Church. She was a 35 year correspondent of the Ayr News.
Relatives & friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St., N., Plattsville for memorial visitation on Saturday November 30, 2019 from 1 - 4 pm. Memorial service will be conducted at the Peace United Church, Plattsville on Sunday December 1, 2019 at 1:30pm. Inurnment will take place in the Chesterfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the Peace United Church Mission & Services Fund or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation (cheques accepted ) and would be appreciated by the family
