BYERS: Lois Mae (nee Gilchrist) - passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her residence Trinity Village Studios, Kitchener on Friday, November 25, 2022. Lois Byers of Kitchener and formerly of Plattsville in her 92nd year.
Beloved wife of Rev. Ron Byers whom she married June 19, 1954. Loving mother of Paul & Nancy of Kitchener and Faith & husband Dan Davison of Eden. Great grandmother of Gabriel Davison. Foster mom to Dustin Commando & wife Elaine of Golden Lake and Barbara Walker-Ruby of Kitchener. Sadly, missed by her grandchildren Amy & husband Max, Christopher & wife Amanda, Scott & Amanda, Isabel, Jenna and Jacob.
Predeceased by her parents Joseph & Grace (Monkman) Gilchrist and by her siblings Gladys, Jean, Ray & Ken.
At Lois's request she has donated her body for medical research and education at the University of Waterloo. There will be no visitation or service.
