Obituary for Karen Jean McMILLAN (Walls)
McMILLAN, Karen Jean (nee Walls) of Strathroy, ON, passed away peacefully in her 60th year on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Victoria Hospital in London, ON.
Predeceased by her parents Eldon "Al" & Helen (Watson) Walls.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Tim McMillan, brothers Brian Walls and Bruce Walls (Barb Fedor) all of London, and brother in law and sister in law Michael & Marilyn McMillan of Simcoe. Karen will also be missed by her nephews Taylor Walls of London and Austin Walls of Strathroy, by her niece Michalia (Collin Johnston) of San Jose, CA, and by her many other relatives and friends.
Forever remembered for her love of the cottage and for her giving nature, Karen was involved with the Girl Guides of Canada for 25 years, the Poppy Drive donation committee, Sir Arthur Currie Legion Branch 116 Strathroy, and enjoyed her 18 year career with Paradigm Financial.
All funeral arrangements will remain private and have been entrusted to the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home in Port Rowan. A family burial will take place in Roy's Cemetery, Fullerton.
A Celebration of Karen's Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be posted at www.gffh.ca.
