Obituary for Julian Edward KING
KING, Julian (Jake) Edward of Port Rowan, Ontario passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 a few days after celebrating his 66th birthday.
Much loved husband and best friend to Janet Lindsay. Loving daddio to Chantal King (Kyle Allin) of Guelph and Dana King (Micah Bates) of Toronto. Dear stepfather of Janessa Fitzpatrick (Harry Mackintosh) of Thailand and Abigail Fitzpatrick of Port Dover. Survived by his brothers and sisters Donald King (Donna), Theresa (Teri) Cook ( Jim), Mary Lou King, Susan Edwards (late Rick), Lawrence King (Sandra), Christine King, Cecilia Findlay, and Adrian King (Elena) and also his father-in-law Bob Lindsay of Simcoe.
Predeceased by his parents Andrew Lewis & Norberta Marie (Hipkin) King and by brothers and sisters Doreen King, Diana King, Denise King, David King and Gerald King.
Julian will be remembered for his kindness, humour and his easy going nature. He loved golf, ‘golf comas’ on the couch, pool and long walks on the beach searching for the perfect piece of beach glass or driftwood. Julian had a passion for travel and, with Janet, their adventures had just begun. So many of Julian’s happiest times were spent with his two beautiful daughters, Chantal and Dana.
Julian left us much too early and he will be missed greatly. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Julian's Life on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 2-5pm in the Clubhouse at the Villages of Long Point Bay, 20 Long Point Blvd. Port Rowan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Simcoe & District Humane Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be posted at www.gffh.ca
