AINSWORTH: J. Gary - passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the Norfolk General Hospital, /Simcoe. Gary Ainsworth of Simcoe in his 81st year.

Beloved husband & best friend of Joan (Sheppard) Ainsworth.. Proud father of Brent (Jodi) of Simcoe and Brian of RR#2 St. Williams. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jessica (Darren), Mitchell, Jordyn (Tanner), Matthew (Madison) and great granddaughter Lauren. Survived by his sisters-in-law Dorothy "Skip" Ainsworth and Betty Lou Ainsworth both of Brantford.

Predeceased by his parents Jack & Nancy (Sloan) Ainsworth, by brothers Donald & wife Mabel, Richard and Kenneth.

Gary was a well respected teacher at Simcoe Composite School until retirement and then became a Marine Surveyor until he fully retired.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan on Sunday from 2-4pm. A public graveside service will take place on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 11:00am in the Port Dover Cemetery.
