John C. Ryksen, passed away at Woodingford Lodge - Ingersoll, ON, on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Marsha Ryksen and the late Anna Ryksen (1995). Loving father of Jane and her husband Bill Droogers, Wilma and her husband Randy Bouwheer, and Teresa and her husband Harvey Van Egdom.

Cherished by his 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by his 6 step-children, 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Brother of Maria and Bill Krysgman, John M. and Willie Ryksen, sister-in-law Coby Ryksen, brother-in-law Joe Overeem.

Predeceased by his brother Geurt Ryksen, and sister Marianne Overeem.

Family and friends will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm., and Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 9:30-10:15 am at the Heritage Reformed Congregation, 685 Main Street South, Burgessville, ON. Funeral service will be held the Heritage Reformed Congregation at 10:30 am, D.V. Pastor P. Van der Hoek officiating.

Interment at the Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Oxford.
