THOMSON: James Wayne “Jim” – passed away suddenly on Thursday October 18, 2018 at the St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener.  Jim Thomson of Plattsville in his 77th year.
Beloved husband of Jane Anne (nee Glendinning) whom he married May 29, 1964.  Dear father of the late Jennifer Tessari (July 1, 2014) and husband Greg Blackmore of New Hamburg, Tim & Andrea of New Hamburg and Nick of Plattsville.  Sadly missed by his grandsons Tom & Alex.  Jim is survived by his brother Rick & wife Lynn, by brother-in-law Bill Glendinning of New Hamburg and sister-in-law Doris Glendinning of Plattsville.
Predeceased by his parents George & Lydia (Hewitt) Thomson, mother and father-in-law Alex & Dorothy (Forbes) Glendinning, sister Eleanor & husband Floyd Hawes, brother-in-law Robert Glendinning and sister-in-law Karen Glendinning.
Jim was a beef farmer in Plattsville for most of his life and upon retirement found his summer job cutting grass at the Dundee Golf Club.
Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St., Plattsville on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8pm.  Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at 11:00am.  Interment in Plattsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sakura House or to Peace United Church, Plattsville (cheques accepted) and would be appreciated by the family.
