SHEARER: James William "Jim" - passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Jim Shearer of RR#1 New Hamburg in his 89th year.

Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Sim) whom he married September 14, 1957. Dear father of Baird and Brenda, Robert & Catie all of RR#1 New Hamburg and Jennifer and Shelley of Ingersoll. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Michael, Jeffrey and Christopher.

Jim was a proud life long farmer having operated Prospect Farms at RR#1 New Hamburg along with his sons and grandson. Jim was a member of the Peace United Church, Plattsville and he was a "True Gentleman"

Predeceased by his parents Thomas E. and Abigail (Hunt) Shearer, by his granddaughter Kailey (2001), and by his sister Jean & husband Earl Burrill.

A private family viewing and service took place at the Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville with Interment in Chesterfield Cemetery.
