On Tuesday December 27, 2022, in his 75th year, Dave lost his brave long-fought battle with cancer at home with his loving wife and best friend Mary at his side.

Dave was a long-time dedicated employee of Fastprint. His favourite pastimes were golf, carpentry, hunting and fishing in Restoule with his treasured friends and partners of the Ancaster Hunt Club.

He is survived by his beloved wife Mary and children: Paula (Greg) Burns , Tracy (Ray) Whyte, Jason (Alisha) Fletcher, Tanya (Phil) Harewood and Daryl Fletcher and 11 cherished grandchildren. Also survived by sisters: Diane (the late Cliff) Woodhouse, Karen (Gord) Woodhouse, Chris (Dave) Davidson and brother Don (Cindy) Compeau; sister-in-law Donna (the late Rob) Thompson and brother-in-law Bob (Renate) Gilpin.

A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at a later date, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford.
