Obituary for Hunter Willard Russel BECKER
BECKER: Hunter Willard Russel – it is with heavy hearts we announce the tragic passing of Hunter. He left us surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at the Woodstock General Hospital. Hunter Becker of Plattsville in his 21st year.
Loving son of Gary & Amy (Eichler) Becker of Plattsville. Dear brother of Rochelle & Hawkins both of Plattsville. Cherished grandson of Ross & Jane Eichler of New Hamburg and great grandson of Marjorie Shantz (Cameron 2005) of New Hamburg. Hunter will be remembered by his aunts and uncles Tracy & Jeff McClenaghan of Barrie, Wanda & Scott Harley of Plattsville, Kathy Becker of Kitchener, Billie Jo Becker of New Hamburg, Serena Wesley of Kitchener and by his cousins Austin, Kayla, Missy, Reese, Kaliope and Amelia.
Predeceased by his grandparents Russel & Lana Becker.
With Hunter’s generosity many families will benefit through the gift of organ donation. This is possible with the help of many and the family thanks the Trillium Gift of Life Network, the Woodstock Hospital CCU, Oxford EMS and the Plattsville Firefighters for all they have done.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Hunter’s life during visitation at the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St., Plattsville on Sunday February 10, 2019 from 1 – 5 pm. Following the visitation at 6:00 pm you are welcome to join the family on the ball diamond in the Plattsville Park for Fireworks as we allow Hunter to “Fly High with the Angels”
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kid’s Hospital, Toronto or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.
