Obituary for Harold James YOUNGBLUT

Youngblut: Harold James - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Harold James Youngblut of Kitchener in his 89th year. Loving husband to the late Sheila Youngblut who predeceased him on April 28, 2015.

Father to Lisa Dittrich of Kitchener and John Youngblut and wife Linda from Peachland, B.C.

Devoted grandfather to Aliesha Dittrich and partner Dustin Maika, Evan Dittrich and wife Rachael, Blair Youngblut and Devon Youngblut and partner Jen.

‘Poppy’ will greatly be missed by his great grandkids. Tauren, Jade , Myles, Peyton and Rileigh. Memories of tractor rides and baggies full of goodies that filled his pockets will remain.

Harold was a master plumber in Kitchener running his own business for over forty years until retiring in the early 2,000’s. He was hardworking and dedicated to his craft and always took pride in a job well done. He loved driving around and pointing out houses he had worked on during his life. There was a great deal of pride in his achievements.

His work ethic never faultered and he spent much of his retirement maintaining the family farm, cutting down trees and chopping wood. This truly was his happy place.

He will be missed and remembered by those whose lives he touched.

As a tribute to Harold the family requests you visit: heartfelt sympathies store and donate a tree in his honour.

A private family service will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. N., Plattsville, Ontario. Personal condolences can be sent to www.gffh.ca
