ZWAAG: Hans – passed away peacefully on Saturday December 29, 2018 at Sakura House, Woodstock.  Hans was born 76 years ago in Holland and was a son of the late Dennis van-der Zwaag and the former Wyske Bakker.
Loving partner of Sharon (Baker) Ziegler.  Dear father of Robert Zwaag of Kitchener and Step-father of Joey Ziegler (Christina).  Hans will be dearly missed by his brother Albert van-der Zwaag of Kitchener and sisters Pat (Floyd) Gerber of Wellesley and Greta Zehr of Dryden.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sister Hillie van-der Zwaag, sister-in-law Helen van-der Zwaag and brother-in-law Glen Zehr.
Hans had worked for Hybrid Turkeys.  He also worked for Erb Transport retiring after 24 years.  He loved to travel. He was always happy – had a smile on his face and never asked for anything.
Cremation has taken place. As per Hans wishes there will be no service.  The family would like to thank Dr. Graczyk & Dr. Rangaswamy for all their care of Hans the last few years.  A special thanks to Sakura House for making the final journey a little easier.
In Hans memory, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, the Parkinson Foundation or the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
