ALVES: Gary Theodoor - passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Sakura House, Woodstock. Gary Alves of Plattsville in his 69th year.
Beloved husband of Cathy (nee Tremblett) whom he married May 4, 2018. Gary is survived by his brother Dan & wife Karen of Parry Sound and his nephews Chris Alves (Peggy) and Kirk Alves (Jennifer) and their families. Step father of Sherry & Dale Hatfield and Jaime Vokey (Ed Lahey) and step grandfather of Mya, Roman, Arielle and Owen. He will be remembered by his mother-in-law Madeline Tremblett of Cambridge, by his brothers and sisters-in-law Susan & husband Joe Delorenzes , Linda Davis, Larry Tremblett & Glenda French Watkins all of Cambridge, Joan & husband Richard Wood of Brantford, Diane & husband Marc Chabot of Plattsville and Paul Johnson (Darlene Varga) of Turkey Point.
Predeceased by 1st wife Lindsay (Jowett) Alves (November 11, 2013), by parents Murray & Marie Alves, brother Larry Alves and sister-in-law Jackie Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invite to a Celebration of Gary's life on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Plattsville Curling Club from 2 - 5pm. with words of remembrance at 3:30pm. Interment will take place later in Foley Cemetery, Parry Sound.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sakura House, Woodstock would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be posted at www.gffh.ca
