SHEARER: Frederic Hugh - passed away peacefully at home on his farm on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Fred Shearer of RR#3 Bright in his 88th year.

Beloved husband of the late Marion (Katchabaw) Shearer who predeceased him July 23, 2012. Dear father of Glen & wife Vicki of RR#4 Bright, Wray of RR#3 Bright and Ruth & husband Clayton Tilley of Plattsville. Sadly missed by his granddaughters Emily & Tom, Elizabeth & Peter, Becky & Gavin, Meagan & Jordan, Carly & Rory and by great granddaughters Hailey & Mavis. Survived by his sisters-in-law Joyce Shearer of Orillia, Geri Shearer of Woodstock and brother-in-law George & Helen Katchabaw of London

Predeceased by his parents John & Alma (Milgau) Shearer, by his brothers William, Doug and George and his wife Margaret, sisters Mary & husband Robert Weber and Margaret & husband George Hutchison and nephew Don Shearer.

Relatives & Friends will be received at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. N. Plattsville on Sunday for 2-4 pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel on Monday April 12, 2021 at 2:00pm. Interment in Chesterfield Cemetery.
