Obituary for Frances Elizabeth STRICKLER (Rabe)
STRICKLER: Frances Elizabeth (nee Rabe) - passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Tuesday July 27, 2021. Frances Strickler of Woodstock and formerly of Innerkip in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Stanley Strickler who predeceased her January 10, 2014. Loving mother of Tom & wife Janice of Woodstock and Nancy Skillings of Harrington. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jason & Becky, Mike & Celina, Julie, Dan & Andrea, Becky & Donnie, Jill & Scott, by great-grandchildren Devin, Scott, Brandon, Nolan, Brooklynn, Georgia, Ireland, Jersey, Salem, Oliver, Carter, Beckham, Raegan, Blair, Sylvia, Flechter, Waylon and great great grandchildren Paisley, Nora and Addilynn. Survived by her sister Irene Thompson and sister-in-law June Smith both of Woodstock.
Predeceased by her parents Carl & Lydia (Sutton) Rabe, by her great granddaughter Violet, by her brother Hugh & wife Hazel Rabe and brother-in-law Jim Thompson.
Frances was a longtime member of the Innerkip United Church.
Relatives and friends will be received for memorial visitation at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. N. Plattsville on Friday from 6-9pm. A Private Family Memorial Service (Invitation Only) will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday July 31, 2021 at 1:00pm. Interment of cremated remains to follow in Drumbo Cemetery.
