BAKER: Florence Mable (nee Syms) – passed away peacefully on Friday January 10, 2019 at the Woodstock General Hospital. Florence Baker of RR#1 Bright in her 89th year.
Beloved wife of the late James W. Baker who predeceased her November 12, 2008.  Loving mother of Shirley Goff and Chuck Lanto, Sharon Ziegler and the late Hans Zwaag (December 29, 2018) all of New Hamburg and Gary Baker of RR# 1 Bright.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Cody Lanto and Joe Ziegler (Christina).  Survived by her sister Marion Capling of Woodstock and sisters-in-law Joyce Gilchrist of Woodstock and Anne Baker of Woodstock.
Predeceased by her parents Tom & Alice (Lyons) Syms, by her sister Ruby & husband Harry Carter and brother-in-law Henry Capling.
A private family graveside service will take place in Chesterfield Cemetery.    Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St. Plattsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chesterfield Cemetery or the Humane Society (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.
