BURGESS: Elizabeth Helen "Betty" (nee Hoskin) - passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Sakura House, Woodstock. Betty Burgess of Woodstock and formerly of Drumbo in her 96th year.

Beloved wife of the late Don Burgess who predeceased her February 16, 2008. Loving mother of Sharon & husband Jim Baker of Drumbo. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Sean & wife Lori, Kelly & wife Marion, Scott & wife Megg and great grandchildren Ainsley, Allison, Cameron, Kyle, Calvin and Nevie. Betty was a devoted Grandma & loved by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Jack Hoskin of Drumbo, sister-in-law Jean Hoskin of Drumbo and by several nieces and nephews. .

Predeceased by her parents George & Eileen (Pierce) Hoskin, brothers Bill Hoskin, Bob & wife Gail Hoskin and sister-in-law Gail Hoskin.

Relatives and Friends will be received in the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. N. Plattsville on Sunday from 2-4pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00am with a reception to follow. Family interment will take place in Drumbo Cemetery
