Stan Becker taught me from a very young age that you can make a tremendous difference in the world with a small act of kindness performed faithfully over time. Many years before I knew his name he was the "Sucker Man" at church who would distribute one lollipop per child each Sunday morning after the service. He always had them. Never a week when he didn't have the chance to get to the grocers to get them. No matter how my day was going he brightened it each time with a smile and a simple piece of candy. He didn't demand thank-yous or extended conversations or repeating theology, he just gave freely - and he always seemed to have enough for every kid to have one, and had no favourites and there were no exceptions. He was so consistent, and so simply generous, and so demonstrated the image of God to me.
Thank you, Stan. May God reward you for your faithful kindness. Gabe Magnus

Stan and his family were great neighbours and friends when I was young and I wish
to send my sympathies and to acknowledge the difficulties in dealing with grief and funeral
arrangements this tine of social distancing. I wish all his family the best in coping with the
loss at this time and want to let them know they are grieving the loss off a really fine man.

We would like send our condolences to the entire Becker family. Stan was was a wonderful and caring person, who always had a smile on his face. Whenever you talked to him you could tell he cared about you and how you were doing. You also knew he cared deeply about his own family. We will always appreciate him being a part of our lives and he will certainly be missed.
You are in our thoughts and prayers,
Ron and Suzanne Eby
