Obituary for Charles Harry RYMER
RYMER: Charles Harry - passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, St. Thomas, Harry Rymer of Port Rowan in his 71st year.
Loving son of Irene Rymer of Port Rowan and her partner the late Ernie Smith.
Loving partner of 25 years to Diane Robinson who passed away March 1, 2022. Dear father of Jason of London, Scott and wife Jody of Langton and Colleen and husband Dave McKinnon of Waterdown. Harry was also loved by Diane's children, Colleen & husband Casey Cassidy of St. Thomas, Kim and husband Shawn Arbeau of Eden and Tim Ward and his partner Jenn Melvin of Port Burwell, Sadly missed by his grandchildren Cruz, Mila, Meghan, Owen, Nathan, Leah, Rachael, Rilyn, Alissa (Dave), Anthony (Jessica), Ashley (Greg), Nicole (Gerard), Ben, L.J., Brooklyn and by his great grandchildren Christopher, Rachelle, Laina, Lucian, Casey, Callen and Aurora. Survived by his brother Len Rymer and wife Deb of London and by brother -in-law Wray Brown of St. Williams. Predeceased by his father Thomas Rymer and his sister Shirley Brown.
Harry retired in 2018 from Trackless Vehicles in Courtland, after working nearly 40 years. He was a gentle and kind man who enjoyed gardening and working outdoors.
Relatives and friends will be received in the Jeffrey W Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 5-8pm. Interment will take place later in Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.
