Obituary for Charles Harold "Charlie" ROUNDS
ROUNDS: Charles Harold "Charlie" the Egg Man - passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 15, 2019 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Charlie Rounds of Paris and formerly of Wolverton in his 83rd year.
Beloved husband of Bonnie (nee English) who he married May 4, 1957. Dear father of Catherine & Daryl Barnes of Wolverton, Kenneth & Vickie Rounds of St. Thomas, Thomas & Ruth Rounds of RR#3 Bright and Patricia Rounds of Drumbo. He will be sadly missed by his 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Jane Giles of Brantford and Pat English of Kitchener.
Predeceased by his parents Harold & Marjorie (Gibson) Rounds, his brother Jim & Jean Rounds and sister Flossy & Norm Clayton, by brothers-in-law Robert English & Dale English.
Charlie was born, raised and then farmed on the family farm at RR#1 Drumbo until retiring to Paris in May of this year. Over the years Charlie was well known for being the "Egg Man" and for supporting the Drumbo Heritage Society in many different fund raising campaigns.
A private family graveside service will take place in the Wolverton Cemetery in the Spring of 2020.
