It is with a broken heart that the family announces the peaceful passing of Cecile Forbes after battling with cancer for the past few years.

Cecile passed away peacefully at home with her husband Stan Forbes, son Bryan Forbes and his partner Jimmy Hillier. Her last week was filled with her family and grandchildren by her side taking care of Grandma.

Cecile is survived by her husband Stan Forbes, her son Jim and Tracey Forbes, her son Bryan Forbes and his spouse Jim Hillier.

Loving grandmother to Josslyn and Adam Friars, Justin Forbes, Jessica Forbes and her partner Alex Marquardt, Danielle Forbes and her partner Travis McCaw, Jamie Forbes, and Jacklynne and Jerome Boykin.

Loving GG to Jack, Ryan and Luke Marquardt, and Elijah and Elliott Boykin.

Sister to Laurence (1996) and Lucile Mousseau, Marie (2022) and Edward (2016) Bellemore, Margaret (2016) and Tom Blaire (2017), Blanche and Gerard Tetreault (2004), Henri (2006) and Monique Mousseau (2014), Paul (2000) and Lorraine Mousseau (2013), Rose and Armond Bellemore, Gerald and Jackie Mousseau, George (2016) and Debbie Mousseau, Isabelle Fletcher

Cecile will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews that she loved all so dearly.

Cecile spent her life devoted to her family and her many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her greatest pride in life was her family.

Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan from 1 until 4pm followed by Words of Remembrance at 4pm.

Interment will be done at a later date.
