Obituary for Alan Paul "Al" KLASSEN

KLASSEN: Allan Paul "Al" - passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday March 24, 2021. Al Klassen of Port Rowan in his 69th year.

Beloved husband of Marianne (nee Goossen) Klassen whom he married August 2, 1975. Dear father of Neil Klassen of London and Krista & husband Dennis Reimer of Port Rowan. Sadly missed by his granddaughters Ava and Danae. Remembered by his sister Shirley & husband Larry Born of Port Rowan mother-in-law Elvira Goossen of St Catharines, brothers and sisters-in-law Steve Talos of Brantford, Albert Goossen and Helmut Goossen of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Helen & husband James Culp of Beamsville, Vic & Annalé Goossen of Kelowna, B.C., Paul & Ingrid Goossen of Aylmer and by his many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents J.P (2005) & Anne (2017) (Dyck) Klassen, sister Diane Talos (2016) and father-in-law Gerhard Goossen (2016).

Al had worked for 29 plus years at Stelco Steel in Nanticoke and was a well regarded local artist.

A private family visitation took place at the Jeffrey W Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan. A private family service will take place at Living Hope Bible Church, Port Rowan on Tuesday March 30, 2021 at 11:00am. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.
